Customer Testimonials

“The bike (in my opinion) feels stiffer than a normal bike around the bottom bracket and still comfortable when riding. I rode this bike to and from work down the canal tow paths, they are not great this time of year so it was a good little test for the ‘urban’ model. Overall the bike feels solid, not like a folding bike at all. This model comes with the rack and mudguards as standard although the accessories are available for all of the 700c wheeled bikes. The guards are narrow but I was surprised to rock up outside my house and still be mud free.. so the guards are a winner for me. So the bike rides well, does it fold well. YES. This bike is a great idea if you are a leaisure cyclist who maybe has a caravan or motor home, live on a boat or just need to get the bike in the car on a regular basis. All of the Montague bikes are easy to fold and its really quick. Again, a tool-less process and you don’t need a degree in engineering to get the bike in the car.”

Rich

Kinetic Rush Bikes, Warwickshire, UK

“The bike was really well packaged and pretty easy to put together – you get lots of documentation. The bike is better than what I expected!! The folding option is really easy to do. It took a few time to figure it out but there are definate bonuses to having a full size bike with regular rims/tires/frame size etc. Would definitely buy from Montague again”…”Very Satisfied with everyone involved.”

G. Greis

“It folds up easily, is lightweight and can fit in the back of the car, but has full size tyres. I needed something for a mix of road and footpath, and to put on trains at times for my commute and this ticks the boxes.”

DirectConnect™ Folding System

New since 2016 is the DirectConnect folding system, which removes the quick release from the top tube, provides an easier folding experience and larger clamping surface between the two halves of the frame. A flip of the quick release lever and your bike folds to a compact size.

Folding Integrated Technology

The Navigator frame is designed around another patented system that allows the bike to fold without any breaks in the frame’s tubing. Not only does this make it easier to fold, but it makes Montague bikes the strongest folding bike on the market. The Folding Integrated Technology (F.I.T.) is based around the same frame construction concepts as serious full suspension downhill bikes.

RackStand

RackStand™ is a new concept in bicycle rack systems. It is a luggage carrier, mudguard, kickstand, and work stand all in one. It even makes folding and storing your folded bike easier. A quick release allows it to rotate under the rear wheel on a specially designed axle mount. When in the lowered position it acts as a kickstand or workstand, stabilizes your bike to make folding easier, and allows the folded bike to be stored or displayed upright.
